About Hey Nha Trang

I'm Vincent Nguyen. I read Vietnamese, and I check every guide against the Vietnamese original.

Here is what made me start. A friend moves to Nha Trang and asks me about a visa, so I search it. First page of Google: blogs selling something, copying each other, no source, no date. I ask an AI chatbot and get the same answer, only more confident. Nobody tells you where the rule comes from, or whether it changed last year. That frustrated me enough to do something about it.

What this site does

Every fee, deadline and condition links back to the original Vietnamese law or official page. Every guide shows when it was last checked and when it is due again. What I know, I say plainly. What I don't know, or what offices answer differently, I say that too, instead of filling the gap with a guess. I want more foreigners to live in and visit Nha Trang with the paperwork made simpler for them, and that starts with understanding it as it really is. The name is the English of a Vietnamese call: "Nha Trang ơi", which is on the logo, is how you call out to someone you know, roughly "hey, Nha Trang".

How a guide is checked

  • Every fee, deadline, form and rule in a guide is traced to a source, with the exact wording kept on file.
  • Legal facts rest on the legal text or a Vietnamese government portal; agency and forum pages are never the basis for a rule.
  • Each guide shows when it was last verified and when it is due for review; what could not be confirmed is listed openly.

AI tools help with research and first drafts; I read and approve every guide before it goes live. The full process, including where AI is used, is on how guides are checked.

What these guides are not

They are general information, not legal advice for your situation. Rules and office practice in Vietnam change, sometimes faster than official pages are updated. Before you act on something with real consequences, confirm it with the office concerned or a licensed adviser.
